Fi Europe is the biggest food ingredient event in the world. Every year thousands of food and beverage experts, brands,
businesses and suppliers come together for three days to network, innovate and collaborate.
Reconnecting Fi Europe with their audience
Fi Europe has always been the biggest event in the industry calendar, but after a challenging few years with Brexit, Covid, war in Ukraine and the recent cost-of-living crisis, attendance had declined. Fi Europe needed to reaffirm their reputation as the place to source ingredients and keep up with all the latest insights and trend innovations.
Our main goal was simple: deliver a creative campaign that would spark a reaction from the ingredients industry, stick in the minds of the audience and give them a powerful reason to attend.
In addition to this, we wanted our campaign to help boost the overall reputation of the event, create more positive associations with the brand and build anticipation around all the incredible people, opportunities and products they can find at Fi Europe.
Fi Europe campaigns had typically been very practical and rational but this year we wanted to create a campaign that was a little more evocative and unexpected.

we re-imagined the industry's expertise, technology and innovation as the real ‘ingredients’ behind successful food and beverage products.
A bold visual concept invited the industry inside a surreal world of ingredients. It was clear, it was memorable, and it delivered the cut-through we were looking for.
But more importantly, it got results.
Giving Fi Europe fresh new flavour and energy
We blended emotion, imagination and industry insight to reawaken the community and deliver phenomenal results. Visitors loved the representation of products, services and ingredients and the overall atmosphere and buzz about the show.

The campaign successfully reigniting engagement and enthusiasm after a few years of waning affection.
Record-breaking results
Fi Europe 2023 became the most attended event in its history, with 23,149 visitors and 1,407 exhibitors, supported by a 38.5% boost in social engagement and improved click-through rates.
Bringing the love back
Visitor feedback and KPIs showed a powerful uplift in approval with a satisfaction score of 4.28/5, a +49 NPS, and 4.15/5 intent to return.
