We’ve had a flurry of new starters this month, and to welcome them into the fold we quizzed them on everything from their work achievements to their best party trick. Get to know our new developer Kamil a little better and find out what he has to say…

What made you want to get into web development?

My first experience of creating a website for a friend.

Who would play you in the movie of your life?

Clint Eastwood.

If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life what would it be?

Anything prepared by my wife.

How long have you worked in the industry?

About seven years.

Do you have a party trick or any hidden talents?

Single Leg Squat – it’s an exercise which isn’t so easy to do, it requires really strong legs.

What was the last book you read?

The Witcher by Andrzej Sapkowski. The Witcher is not human, it’s a race that has the task of defending others from evil, and most creatures do not like them too much. There are masses of bizarre creatures as well as the more familiar ones: elves, gnomes, dwarves, halflings, driers, witches, vampires, werewolves. It’s got everything from fairy tale creatures to sorcery, magic, and fast action.

Where did you grow up?

Opole, a city in Poland, and as a child I spend a lot of time at my Grandma’s in the village.

If your life had a theme song what would it be?

“Freedom” by Anthony Hamilton & Elayna Boynton.

What’s your favourite thing about your job?

That it’s not possible to know it all, there’s always something new to discover.

What’s your proudest work achievement?

My personal workflow, which allows me to keep things organised.

Thanks Kamil!
